Our Story
A place where healing begins with belonging
Every meaningful place has a story. Ours begins with one woman, a simple dream, and the belief that healing happens when people feel safe, seen, and supported. Today, that dream lives on through a nonprofit community where every body is welcome.

A Message From the Founder, Andrea Hilborn

Long before MindBody Healing Center at Solace Farms became a reality, it began as a dream.
In my twenties, I imagined a welcoming Victorian home where people could gather, laugh, play games, and enjoy one another's company. I called it "Rainy Daze," a place where strangers could become friends and everyone felt they belonged. At the time, I didn't realize that dream would one day become something much bigger.
Years later, life brought unexpected challenges. As a mother navigating difficult circumstances, I found myself exhausted, overwhelmed, and in need of a safe place to land. When my son and I left an unhealthy marriage, dear friends opened their home to us without hesitation. They gave us more than a place to stay. They gave us time to breathe, to heal, to laugh again, and to begin rebuilding our lives.
They gave us sanctuary.
That experience forever changed how I understood healing. I realized that sometimes the greatest gift isn't advice or a solution. Sometimes it's simply having a place where you feel safe, supported, and surrounded by people who genuinely care.
As the world emerged from the isolation and uncertainty of the 2020 pandemic, it became clear that many others were carrying unseen burdens. People were longing for connection, encouragement, and hope. More than ever, our communities needed places where healing could happen naturally through compassionate care, meaningful relationships, and shared experiences.
That vision became Solace Farms.
From the very beginning, I dreamed it would one day become a nonprofit organization because I never wanted financial circumstances to determine whether someone could receive support. Healing, connection, and community shouldn't be available only to those who can afford them. They should be accessible to everyone.
Today, that dream has become a reality.
As MindBody Healing Center at Solace Farms, we are building a nonprofit community where people of all backgrounds can come to heal, grow, connect, celebrate life's joys, and find support through life's challenges. Whether you're seeking a moment of peace, a place to belong, or people who will be present and witness you with compassion you for a while, we hope you'll find a home here.
Because every body deserves to heal.
Warmly,
Andrea

Meet Stella
Tucked away beneath ancient oaks and kissed by morning mist, “Stella” is the home of MindBody Healing Center—a 1940s Victorian haven where healing unfolds in elegance and stillness. Known to us as Stella—the Latin word for “star”—this timeless estate radiates the quiet light of restoration and renewal.
With its gabled rooftops, lace-trimmed windows, and a hand-carved staircase worn smooth by generations, our Stella welcomes you with the warmth of another era. Each room is a sanctuary, filled with vintage charm—velvet settees, floral wallpaper, sun-faded books, and the soft aroma of cedar and wild herbs.
Here, we offer more than healing practices. We offer sacred space. Energy work, intuitive body therapies, group coaching, community nights, and restorative retreats are held within the manor’s peaceful walls and sunlit garden paths. The surrounding land hums with grounding energy, inviting barefoot walks, forest meditations, and deep reconnection to self.
Whether you're seeking realignment, release, or rest, our Stella welcomes you to a space where past and present merge—and where healing is the heartbeat of the house.
